City of Waterbury Recreational Pool Use

POOL REGISTRATION POLICY
 The following policy applies to all City of Waterbury Bureau of Recreation pools and Learn to Swim Programs (Fulton, Hamilton, Washington, Kennedy High School).
 
The Bureau of Recreation in the City of Waterbury welcomes all residents to utilize our outdoor pool facilities and Learn to Swim Programs.  Any Waterbury resident that would like to participate in the use of our pool facilities must register with the Bureau of Recreation via our website.  All participants must show proof of residency with photo identification (driver’s license or passport) and have their picture taken at our pre-determined location. 
 
Participants who register with the Bureau of Recreation will also adhere to the rules and regulations of our outdoor pools and Learn to Swim programs.  A copy will be provided to participants upon registration.

POOL REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
  • Pool registration is required
  • City of Waterbury residents who wish to swim at Hamilton/Fulton/Washington pools and/or any Learn to Swim programs must pre-register with the Bureau of Recreation.
  • Pre-registration process:
  • For completion of outdoor pool use registration you must go to River-Baldwin Recreation Center 135 East Liberty Street, Waterbury, CT main office with proof of residency (driver’s license or passport) and to have your photo taken. Please note: if completing the registration for multiple family members everyone that will be physically using the pools must be present for a photo.
Starting June 3, 2019
Monday – Friday 11:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday 10:00am – 3:00pm
